Life Summary
I was born on Valentines Day (February 14) 1984 in the wonderful city of Harrisburg Pennsylvania. My parents were very pleased when I was brought into the world. The nurse commented she never saw a baby with such big feet and hands in her life. I was eight pounds and fifteen ounces. My mother is five foot eleven inches and my dad is six foot four inches. I lived in the state of Pennsylvania for five years. When I left my home state I was five feet exactly.
I moved to Michigan in the city of Harrison Township. I lived a mile from the beach, one of my favorite places to go. In Harrison Township I not only grew eleven inches over six years I gained a basketball game. Through the years I lived in "the town" I maintained an "A" average in my classes and was the leading scorer in the YMCA league for each year I played. I also maintained the leading rebounding and block shot position over my years playing YMCA basketball.
After leaving South River Elementary School I moved to Southfield Michigan to attend Thompson Middle School. By the time classes started I was six feet one inches tall. I was a ridiculed child for being both athletic and intelligent. I had a rough time adjusting to the new environment. I went from an all Caucasian neighborhood to an all African-American neighborhood. Once people saw that I am a kind and nice guy they eventually accepted me for who I am. Though I was sort of an outcast I was and am extremely popular. I came out of sixth grade with all A's and all 1's and 2's. Everyone knew me in middle school, from sixth graders to eighth graders. In the seventh grade I was leading scorer and rebounder on the team. I also think it was one of my most favorite years in school. By eighth grade I was six foot seven and was ranked as one of the top players in the state. My confidence went through the shoot, but I regained it when I got to high school.
High School had its ups and downs. I maintained a 3.8-3.9 g.p.a through all of high school, which was very pleasing to the folks and me. In the ninth grade I was a varsity basketball player who found a nitch in the art of rhyming. All through this grade I was writing my thoughts and emotions through a type of poetry society calls Hip-Hop. By Tenth grade I took a break from basketball, because my coach was not for me and tried to stop the good that was coming to me, and played tennis. Eventually in tennis I played singles and doubles where I was successful at both. In the eleventh grade I played Soccer, where I was the captain. Eleventh grade was great and I was looking forward my senior year. Senior year was not as fun as I had hoped, but it did get over with quickly and now here I am at Purdue.
Currently at Purdue my grades are going up and I am on the basketball team looking forward to a good year!
Here is a graph I made of me and my homegirl Raven a while back to make a break down between the two of us.
